Borbonese is a historic Made-in-Italy brand. It has a strong heritage: created in Turin a century ago, in 1910, as a bag, jewellery and accessories label, it soon joined the leading names in Italian luxury with products that expressed both class and elegance.

 

 

A mark of distinction in Borbonese collections is the O.P. or Occhio di Pernice (partridge eye) print, the brand's symbol and trademark. Created in the 1970s, the O.P. texture is still the brand's emblem today, together with other signs of distinction such as the rivet, the screw and the bracket, which, combined with the historic iconic bags with close ties to the brand’s origins – the Luna, Sexy and Sexy Estensibile models – have helped to make Borbonese one of the most notable brands in Italian fashion.

 

 

Borbonese has always combined precious materials and refined techniques with masterly crafting to emphasise details and characteristics. The central role of research in developing the brand’s production and style, never an end in itself, has led to the creation of new ways of presenting the historic O.P. texture. Occhio di Pernice (partridge eye), which has always been closely tied to the brand, is produced in new and innovative variations, materials and colours.

 

 

Borbonese’s core business remains bags and foulards, still synonymous with quality and high stylistic standards, but the accessories range has seen the addition of other lines over time: first clothing and fur products, then goods for the home, accessories and bed-linen, creating a true style of “global living”.
