1.       Introduction

The protection of your personal data is very important for Borbonese S.p.A. (“Borbonese”).

Even if you send us a spontaneous application, we want you to feel safeguarded and protected at all times.

Therefore, we invite you to carefully read this statement, prepared pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 bearing the “General Data Protection Regulation” (“GDPR”), of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018 (“Italian Data Protection Code”), as well as to any other European and/or Italian provisions and/or legislation, with regard to the protection of personal data, and to contact us for any further clarification.

Please, also note that in case you are contacted for an interview, the Borbonese will provide you with further information on the processing of your personal data pursuant to Articles 13 of the GDPR and 111-bis of the Italian Data Protection Code.

2.       Data Controller

Upon filling in the above form, the personal data (“Data”) supplied by you will be received by Borbonese as data controller (“Data Controller”), in the person of its legal representative, with registered office in Milan, Viale Majno No. 18.

3.       Purpose and legal basis of the processing

The Data Controller will process “common” Data (e.g., name, surname, contact details) and, possibly, “particular” Data (e.g. data on health, trade union membership) that you have disclosed in order to receive and examine your application. In particular, in the event that you provide the details of your telephone number (home or mobile) and your e-mail address, the Data Controller informs you that the aforementioned contacts will only be used to respond to your message or, more generally, to contact you in case of need.

The legal basis of Data processing for the pursuit of said purposes is the execution and correct management of the request submitted by you to Borbonese.

4.       Nature of Data disclosure and consequences of non-disclosure

The disclosure of such information is optional; however, failure to provide it will not allow Borbonese to consider your application.

5.       Categories of subjects to whom the Data may be disclosed

Your Data may be disclosed to HR Office and will not be disseminated.

Your Data will not be transferred to a third country (not belonging to the European Union) or an international organization that has not guaranteed a high level of personal data protection similar to that assured in the European Union.  

The subjects belonging to the above categories will use the Data as independent data controllers or as data controllers.

Nevertheless, the Data may be processed only by personnel specifically authorized by the Data Controller pursuant to Articles 4, No. 10), 29 and 32(4) of the GDPR and of Article 2-quaterdecies of the Italian Data Protection Code.

6.       Data retention criteria

The data you provided upon sending your spontaneous application will be taken into consideration and retained by the Data Controller for a period of 18 months (starting from receipt of the résumé). Once this deadline has expired without the Data Controller contacting you for the purposes of an interview, your data will be deleted. In any case, you may, if you deem it appropriate, send them again by filling out the above form.  

7.       Rights of the Data Subjects

We inform you that you may exercise, in the cases expressly provided by the GDPR, the rights pursuant to articles. 15 ff of the GDPR and in particular you may:

(i)       request confirmation that your Data are being processed and, in this case, request the Data Controller to access the information relating to the processing;

(ii)     request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete Data;

(iii)    ask the Data Controller to delete the Data;

(iv)    request the limitation of processing;

(v)     request to receive, in a format of common use and readable by automatic device, the data concerning you or to obtain direct transmission to another controller, where technically feasible (so called “Data portability”).

You also have the right to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data concerning you.

Finally, the Data Controller reminds you that you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (, as provided by Article 77 of the GDPR, or to refer to the relevant courts (Article 79 of the GDPR).
