Borbonese was born in Turin in 1910: universally recognized for its OP ( Partridge's Eye) texture, it is now one of the longest-running handbag and accessories maisons on the Italian and international scene. The notes of 910 open to accords of bitter orange peel, petit grain and spices, a tribute to the richness of Turin's iconic local markets. In contrast, white peony, gardenia join benzoin and natural patchouli for a body that is both sinuous and sophisticated.

In 1916 Giacomo Balla, an important exponent of Italian Futurism, designed an unprecedented bag for Borbonese. Rounded shapes intersected with angular lines and elements that recall the cultural dynamism of the time. The notes of 916 open to accords of natural ginger, pink pepper and bergamot, a tribute to the vibrant and electric character of the artistic imagination. Ambroxan, natural rose and sandalwood close the circle in a continuous sensory vortex.

To celebrate the landing on the moon, in 1969 Borbonese created a revolutionary bag: the Luna Bag. Going against the fashions of the times where the bag had to be rigid and structured, the Luna Bag was almost one with the woman's body: sinuous and fluid. The notes of 969 open to accords of ginger
natural, iris and cocoa beans, a tribute to lunar mystery and sensuality. Natural Tonka Bean, Cashmere Wood and Leather accord envelop the jus for an irresistibly narcotic effect.

In 1972 the Sexy Bag, one of the most beloved bags ever, was born. It is said that it was a well-known television journalist who coined the name: “Its curvy lines and softness to the touch really make it a sexy bag.” The notes of 972 open to marine accords, white grapefruit and natural carnation, a tribute to the soft fluidity of Sexy. Pink peony, natural patchouli and jasmine add to its seductiveness, while sandalwood recalls the silkiness of OP suede, the house's iconic fabric.

The bottle is cylindrical, without edges.
Softness has always been a hallmark of Borbonese:
its best-known bags, such as the Luna and the Sexy,
are without edges or superstructures: not accessories
but almost extensions of one's body.
The cap, created specifically for this collection,
is an explosion of the Maison's markings.
This one is golden like the metallics present in the bag
and accessories. The top is set with the Borbonese vine,
another historical sign, and is wrapped in precious
OP suede in four color variants in line with the character
of the fragrance.
Inside the box is also a cotton clutch bag reminiscent of
those used to protect handbags.
