In collaboration with the renowned Parson's School of Design in Paris, its young creatives and localexcellences,
we brought the Savoy Faire project to life with the intention of building new narratives basedon values and stories
of Italian craftsmanship and excellence. A real conversation around sustainability, bringing to light
historical craft realities that are often forgotten and emphasizing the role of local realities run by women workers
such as the Su Trobasciu cooperative.

Students were asked to combine the DNA of Borbonese with the sustainable craftsmanship of the Su Trobasciu group: a Sardinian women-only cooperative specializing in the art of weaving and tapestry.SuTrobasciu (meaning "the loom" in Sardinian) is a women-only cooperative in the village of Mogoro in Sardinia, specializing in the traditional art of weaving and tapestry. Their art is defined by the use of hand looms to create intricate designs with a mastery passed down from generation to generation.

A special jury composed of brand members and Sara Sozzani Maino named student Lara Gerlach as the winner of the "Savoy Faire" project with her "Rinasci" bag.
The selected project became part of the Borbonese Spring Summer 2022 collection.

Entirely handmade and with attention to every detail. The Rinasci Bag combines ancient Sardinian tapestry motifs with our OP print-a design focused on respect for Italy's artisanal heritage and Italian
craftsmanship.
