THE FUTURE STARTS HERE

For us, sustainability is an every day journey for every person within the company. We give the same attention that our artisans place on our handmade products to the impact these have on people, on communities and on the environment. We believe in the production of beautiful things, made to last over time and pass from generation to generation, giving them new life. We are convinced that well-made things guarantee a better future for everyone. For over a hundred years, we have been inspired by our hometown, Turin, Italy, in building a tradition of craftsmanship and a community that wants to live in an authentic, conscious way.

THE PARTNERS

In order to build a sustainable future together, we carefully selected the best possible partners. Our partnerships allow us to achieve concrete daily goals, experimenting with new production materials as well as recycling processes, to guarantee a fully traceable, quality supply chain.

OUR PATH

Since 2018 we’ve been working on a research and development path that involves every step of our production process and every person who works with us, to keep the promise of creating beautiful products, made to last forever.

2018
With the entry of the new CEO Alessandro Pescara, we started setting concrete sustainability goals to be achieved over time within the Borbonese world

2020
The first milestone is reached: almost half of the FW 2020 collection is created sustainably, and our first 100% recycled PET Nylon material line is born.

2022
Packaging is now completely recycled. Up to 60% of the new collection is made in eco-friendly and recycled materials.

2024
The materials used for future collections will not only be recycled, but recyclable. Our promise with the Earth is to create a 100% sustainable collection, with full respect for the environment, people and communities.

OUR SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

With our Spring Summer 2022 collection we have reached the important milestone of 60% sustainable production, working with new materials and new techniques, to ensure the highest possible quality, while fully respecting the environment.

OUR SUSTAINABLE LEATHER

OUR SUSTAINABLE LEATHER

Having sustainable leather in our collection means developing a long-term project that can respect the dynamics of the circular economy. Thanks to the collaboration with La Granda, a consortium of sustainable Italian breeders, we support the control and tracing of leather, respecting the entire supply chain.

RECYCLED NYLON

RECYCLED NYLON

Today, 100% of our range of nylon products is recycled thanks to the use of PET material, a particular type of yarn extracted from discarded plastic bottles and aluminum cans. Recycled yarn requires less oil used for production, helping to reduce air pollution and control the greenhouse effect.
